Books & Covers

A fine example of inappropriate book cover design posted by Seth. It’s reminds me of an Hungarian edition of Leon Uris’s Exodus that used the same ridiculously inappropriate typography.

Guess it would have been better investment making proper design than spending on a hard book cover. Surprisingly cheap Penguin editions have much better design.

This one is my personal favorite, Big Brother with that thick black mustache, a chopper hovering above and flags waving across on top of each building. Oh those red flags, I remember them from my childhood quite well: creepy!

Guess that this is bit more eye catching: shot taken probably from a surveillance camera with a straight eye contact that you just cant evade. And the contrast from Mixing hot orange among cold green. Brilliant! On a more technical note here is Chad Fowler’s excellent career management book, that truly cannot be judged by its controversial cover (nor title for that matter).
